Success story: Misty Roberts
I took the Certified Remote Work Professional as a suggestion from my brother. I had just had my second baby, it was a year and a half after covid began, and we were struggling on a single income. I had worked as a special ed teacher for ten years, but I wanted to work from home and be able to still care for my children. The class was so full of information and helpful insights. I got way more from the class than I even expected.
I would recommend this class to anyone thinking of working from home. Even if you've worked from home before, I think you will take away several valuable skills from this class. I am now back at teaching special ed, but I'm teaching online from home and am able to have some flexibility to take care of my children too!

A neglected benefit of hybrid work: It improves career options for moms.
As remote work expands, mothers earn more and are more likely to be employed—especially in family-unfriendly fields like finance.
Flexibility doesn't just facilitate balance. It broadens opportunity.
