How to measure productivity of remote workers

Organizations have access to a variety of tools to help remote employees do their best work — video conferencing apps, ergonomic desk chairs, and high-definition monitors. But when it comes to measuring that productivity, managers still struggle with balancing supervision and overreach. A productivity expert at MIT offered two actions to relieve managerial worries, while still giving employees space to do their work:

  1. Identify the top priorities of each role
  2. Check in with employees (regularly)

Read all about the details behind these actions.

The average US enterprise requires 2.49 days/week in  office

The majority of enterprises require 2-3 days per week in office. 90% of enterprises with a Minimum Days / Week model required 2-3 days per week.It is relatively uncommon for enterprises to require employees to work one day a week or four days per week in the office. If you work at a firm with a Structured Hybrid model, you should expect to spend 2-3 days per week in the office.
