A Recap of the 2024 Remote Workforce Summit and What’s Next

If you missed out on the Remote Workforce Summit on May 10, we hope to see you at the next one. This year we partnered with Snow College, who provided the incredible venue for the Summit, the Sevier Valley Center. For next year's Summit we're considering USU Eastern in Price, or possibly a venue in Cedar City or St. George.

One thing that people raved about this year were the breakout sessions. We had panel discussions on best resume practices, expert insights for remote work success, and entrepreneurship through remote work. We also had great presentations on personal branding, best practices, and personal finance skills. There were free portrait photos for LinkedIn profiles available and many door prizes to win.

One of the best parts of the Summit were the conversations that took place between breakout and keynote sessions. The exhibitors were all there to help attendees, as were all the ROI staff members. There were also great conversations happening between attendees as people discovered others who were navigating the remote employment search similar to their own.

We hope you'll join us at a future Remote Workforce Summit!

ROI Student Testimonial

"Taking this course was definitely worth it," says Debbie Sackett about the Certified Sales Professional course. "I always believed my resume was strong, but after my program coordinator, Becky Newman, reviewed it and suggested several improvements, it became truly outstanding! The value I received from the resume assistance alone is worth the cost of the entire course!"
